The Very First Blythe Exhibition in Kobe!
Kobe is a wonderful town. It is surrounded by the ocean and Mount Rokko and blessed with the beautiful scenery of nature. It is a harbor town with a twist of exoticism and style, with an array of shops that provide from interesting miscellaneous goods to cute cafe's and fashion! With that we would like to introduce you to the event we had in Kobe. Once we got to "Kobe Marui" the latest fashion ware for women are all there and at the entrance was decorated with an abundance of Blythe visuals. People were greeted with mermaid themed Blythe posters on each floor.
At the event in Kobe Marui popular fashion brands styled Blythe in the theme of "The Little Mermaid" and "Rapunzel"! The brands that contributed to this event were Mercury Duo, Blancheur, Blondragee, Inter Planet, Le Jour, Lalacub, ru, and Murua (in no particular order).
A lot of people came by to come see these intricately made Blythes.
After the event came to an end all the specially made Blythes will be sold at an auction through the internet around the spring time in 2009, so please check it out!
We also had the popular "Variety Fair" event as well!
There were hand made custom Blythes and original dresses made by popular doll artists at the event. A lot of people came by and lined up for the event. Everybody came to purchase the item they have been having their eye on for sometime. The event was a great success and the mass of people almost made it feel like we were in Tokyo!
The Artists that were a part of the event were, by.echo, Kinoko Juice, Aketsun!, Cherry Merry Muffin, Rock'n Doll London Ackey & Tomomo, heiligtum, and Junie Moon (in no particular order). These artists are highly respected of Blythe Fans, we were really grateful that they were part of this event.
There was also a signing by Junko Wong and Saki Yamashita!
Many people came to get autographs from Junko Wong for her Hawaiian book and popular creator Saki Yamashita!
They both gave heart felt messages to each person that came for the signing. Junko Wong was very excited and pleased to meet and speak to Blythe Fans in person. Gaining energy from these meetings Junko Wong has made it clear that she will apply her deep love to Blythe and create exciting, cute and new dolls in the future! Thank you to everybody that came to the event, we sincerely appreciate your attendance.
