Q: Congratulations for winning the grand-prix of the 3rd Blythe Beauty Contest in the special beauty category! Could you please introduce yourself?

We are sisters who adore Blythe dolls. We enjoy customizing and making outfits for her. Since we entered the contest, our enthusiasm for Blythe has increased even more. LUKA, the older sister is in charge of the outfit and accessories and SALA, the younger sister customizes the doll.

Q: Tell us the story of when you submitted your work,”Baby Rose” to the Blythe Beauty Contest.

We’ve been enjoying the annual anniversary events and go see the exhibition every year. It is very stimulating to look at the fabulous dolls exhibited and we thought it would be wonderful if our doll could join the exhibition as well. So we decided to enter the 3rd Blythe Beauty Contest. Once we started working on it, it took us a lot more time than we expected. We thought we might not make it on time, but luckily the deadline was postponed one month, so we just managed to submit out work.

Q: What was the hardest part in the manufacturing process after you entered the contest?

For us, the hardest part was when we are waiting for the announcement of the finalists. It felt like very long time and everyday we worried about it a lot. We were so happy to receive the e-mail that we had been selected for to be a finalist. Thanks to the very cooperative staff at CWC, the manufacturing process went smoothly. We never felt it was hard. We really appreciate this precious experience that we’ve been given.

Q: What made you the most happy through the production?

Needless to say, it made us very happy to win the grand-pix for the contest and to be manufactured as a product. We also couldn’t forget the feeling we got when we saw our doll displayed at the exhibition hall for the first time. We were so proud of our “Baby Rose” standing on the sparkling stage. We were moved to tears!

Q: What is the appealing charm point in CWC Exclusive Neo Blythe dress set, “Baby Rose”? What makes her distinct?

It is a completely coordinate outfit from head to toe. We’d like people to enjoy the lovely “Baby Rose” feeling, and the details such as the use of the color pink, the lace and tulles.

Q: Please give a message to the all Neo and customized Blythe fans in the world.

Blythe is such a pretty doll, isn’t she? She has become one of the most important things for us these days. Each day we find something else that charms us. We will be very happy if a lot of Blythe fans have this dress set and many Blythe dolls wear it.

Q: From this year, there are some changes in the Beauty Contest so that a lot more fans could enjoy participating in the popular vote and the exhibition itself. Would you like to give some messages to those who wish to join the contest next year? What do you think is the most valuable thing about participating in the contest?

When we participated, there was a runway presentation in front of a lot of people and the juries. It was a very valuable experience, although we were constantly nervous throughout the event. I think the new system makes it easier for the contestants. I recommend participating in the contest. It is a great opportunity for your original precious doll to be shown in the public. We are looking forward to see your dolls!
