Venus Fort is an all-encompassing theme fashion mall in Odaiba. The theme of the interior architecture is an Italian grotto! Castle facades, elaborate fountains and the realistic sky ceiling will make you feel like a 19th century aristocrat! Venus Fort is not only a fashion mall but also a perfect place to enjoy delicious cuisine! Blythe Welcomes Everyone! The Blythe event took place at the main staircase inside of Venus Fort across from the beautiful fountain. The Blythe doll used for all of promotional items and banners is a part of the fashion show dolls! She is even displayed at this exhibition. This year, the event was divided into two spaces、one part of the event space was dedicated to the newly released Blythe dolls. Princess a la mode, the Event Limited Edition Neo Blythe Cassis, Petite Blythe Bird Song Duet, and other cute dolls greeted the fans! CWC illustrator, Hiromi Sato also exhibited her artwork inspired by the “Princess a la mode” story. Her lovely work captured the hearts of many Blythe fans. The artwork was included with the customized Blythe made by last year's Beauty Contest winners. These dolls are inspired by the “Princess a la mode” story and they will also be part of charity auction. Thank you very much to all of the artist who participated in this charity event! A special Blythe shop was located at Olive Square. From the shop, you can see the fashion dolls displayed at Broadway Avenue. The display included the wonderful Blythe dolls from the Blythe Beauty Contest. This year we had entries from all over the world and the finalists were selected from a panel of special judges and public voting. You will be delighted to see the many interpretations of Blythe! Following the Beauty Contest dolls are the “Pret a Porter” fashion dolls. The theme for these Blythe dolls was “pure fashion”! Come and see these stylish Blythe to see the hot new designs from top Paris designers! The crowd included couples, single ladies, Blythe fans, families and children too! All in attendance were inspired and entertained by the beautiful exhibition dolls. There were also a few charity fashion show dolls added at the Venus Fort event site. Uniquely styled Blythe dolls by “LEVI'S Lady Style” and Yurai san from the band “Bahashishi” contributed their own fashion Blythe to the charity. Their outfits and styling were so cute! The Beauty Contest Semi-Finalist Blythe that were donated to charity were also on display. All the Blythe exhibited at the event will be auctioned of for charity in the spring of 2008. New and limited items released! The Blythe shop at Venus Fort was a limited shop that only operated for the duration of the exhibition. The most talked about item was of course the along waited 6th Anniversary Blythe “Princess a la mode” . Many of you may already know that Princess a la mode is based on a touching story of friendship. People from all over the world visited Venus Fort to see the 6th Anniversary Blythe event. One family came all the way from Taiwan to see the exhibition on their summer vacation! Who was the biggest Blythe fan out of the family? Their lovely father! After looking though all of the great Blythe dolls available, the family decided to buy Neo Blythe “Feel the Sky” and “Hello Harvest”. One of the customers, who purchased CWC Limited Edition Neo Blythe “Gentle River” checked each doll to find the perfect one. She said she was very particular with the shape of the lips and the blush. Gentle River will be very happy to find a home with lots of love and care! Stamp Rallies! The stamp rally hosted by Venus Fort was a special promotion in conjunction with the shops and restaurants at Venus Fort. The customers who purchased 2,000yen worth of Blythe goods, received a special stamp card. After collecting 2 stamps, the customer received a Venus Fort original Blythe cell phone strap. We met one of the fans that was so excited to get this limited edition item! The stamp rally hosted by CWC was in conjunction with the Junie Moon boutique, hana cafe in Daikanyama and Venus Fort. When fans collected 3 stamps, they received a special gift from the Junie Moon boutique. They could also enter their stamped card to win a chance to purchase the 6th anniversary Blythe! The winners were announced at the closing of the Venus Fort event. Three lucky fans were selected to win this lovely prize! Also, at the event, there was a special cell phone QR code to download the limited edition Blythe wallpaper for your cell phone!
