Langham Place shopping center was the main site for the Blythe 6th Anniversary Exhibition of the "Princess a la mode" dolls.
This was the first time for the anniversary event to travel to Hong Kong.
The exhibition featured the fashion show dolls from the Pret A Porter event in Paris.
The French designer dolls were greeted with much admiration by the wonderful Hong Kong fans.
The bright atrium of Langham Place was an inviting area for the sweet pink Blythe display area.
The dolls were enclosed in a long glass case.
The Blythe "Princess a la mode" DVD played during the event, showcasing the dolls on display as they were paraded down the catwalk.
There was a large photo area for Blythe fans to take their picture with a life sized Blythe!
Blythe creative producer Junko Wong was on hand for the opening ceremony.
She presented the awards for the Hong Kong fan Blythe Photo contest.
There was an exciting press event for the fans, including two very special guests, "Princess a la mode" and the Christian Lacroix Blythe!
These two little girls helped to make the event fun and original.
Over 200 fans from Hong Kong participated in the photo contest; the themes were "70's Style" and "Echos of Nature". Junko chose the top winners and they received special prizes on stage at the press event.
Their beautiful photos were on display at the event space for two weeks.
Many people gathered to take in the silent beauty of Blythe.
In addition to the Pret A Porter Paris designer dolls, Extravaganza Hong Kong helped to curate a selection of dolls from famous Hong Kong designers, including Roxy, Mabelline, Alice Chan, New Monday, Extravaganza, Kenny Wong, Chocolate Rain B, and more!
The famous idols Annie Lau and Isabella appeared at this event to give Junko their dolls to place in the exhibition space.
These dolls were then auctioned off for charity on Yahoo!
Hong Kong with 100% of the proceeds going to charity.
We would like to thank all of the designers who participated and helped raise funds for the Hong Kong Make-A-Wish foundation.
We would like to thank all of the fans for coming out to this exhibition.
With your support you all helped make this anniversary event successful!
