This year's event is called, "Once Upon a Wonder World" is our 7th annual charity event.

7th Anniversary Charity Exhibition "Once Upon A Wonder World"

This exhibition we had artists and designers style and customize Blythe dolls in the theme of fairy tales. We had people vote for their favorite out of all the semi finalists and our anniversary dolls for the story "Denizen of the Lake" was on display during the event. We had many people came to the event day after day, it was so much fun! We'd like to share with you what happened during the event!

Blythe Styled as Fairytales

At the event, the space was decorated with flower lush foliage. It was as if everyone was magically transformed into a garden wonder world.

Once you enter the space the first thing that attracts the eye is a huge video screen playing cute Blythe animations. Obviously we have this year's anniversary doll on display. Popular illustrator Hiromi Sato made original artwork to go along with the story of "Denizen of the Lake" enriching the tale even more. Blythe dolls made by fashion brands and artists were categorized according to the story each doll was associated with.
Once you've walked under the flower arch you've entered the place of fairy tales. Blythe had transformed into the characters of these stories. There were park benches so you could sit back, observe and enjoy the fantastic world.
From June 28th to July 5th we had the semi finalists' dolls on display in the middle of the event space. Each piece of work was made with great care and backed with strong concepts. The people that came to see the dolls were in awe of their lovely glory.
