Blythe 7th Anniversary Charity Exhibition Once Upon A Wonder World in VenusFort Nov.2008

"Once Upon A Wonder World" was held at VenusFort.

"Once Upon A Wonder World" was held at VenusFort, a Medieval European themed shopping center. VenusFort is a famous visiting spot for family, friends, couples and visitors from overseas, and is crowded with thousands of people everyday!

The original story "Denizens of the Lake"

Upon entering the 2nd floor Orange Avenue fans were greeted with a fantasy world of flower arch. A collection of the 2008 anniversary dolls, "Christina" "Eleanor" "Suzie Sugar" and the new comer "Lily Wild" were the happy hosts to this lovely exhibit.

Lily Wild is a flower fairy and friend of Eleanor. Her first appearance was at the Venus Fort event, the story was slowly revealing more of itself.
The booth looked even more gorgeous with Hiromi Sato's illustrations. Her new illustrations feature a soft and gentle touch, perfect for the dreamy fairytale event. There was an on site exhibition of her artwork, which many people enjoyed seeing her lovely illustrations up close and personal.

Fairytale setting dolls

The fans were engrossed in a lovely fairytale world. The dolls are styled as; Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, Anne of Green Gables, The Nutcracker Suite, Little Mermaid and Rapunzel. The display for Venus Fort was circular, and fans could stand in the center of the exhibition space and see a 360 degree view of the entire collection.

Beauty Contest finalists dolls

The finalist dolls from the 3rd Annual Blythe Beauty Contest we displayed in Broad Avenue. The Grand Prix winning dolls were also on display, and fans were lucky to look up close and observe the lovely details in stlying and craftsmanship.

Shop

The event shop featured many fun items includeding the CWC Limited Edition Prima Dolly Amaryllis and pre-release dolls. The Junie Moon orginal t-shirt and sock sets were a big hit with all of the fans.
A very special new addition to the event was the original name sticker machine! Fans personalized Blythe stickers with their names in Japanese, these were the perfect souvenir for the fans and they event made some for their friends!

All of the dolls at the exhibition will be aucitoned off for charity in the Spring of 2009. If you would like to add one of these lovely dolls to your collection, be sure to participate in the charity auction!
