"Summer Vacation"

"Miss Popularity" is the favorite photo selected by Blythe fans. "Summer Vacation" , with a background of bright blue sky and brilliant sunshine, was selected as Miss popularity in the Neo-Blythe category. It was first time for Ms. Nogi to enter a photo contest. Last year, she found out about this photo contest after it' s dead line and couldn' t enter. However, this year she sent in her photo at the last minute.
She took this photo on her veranda in October. Summer vacation was already over. She never studied photography but she patiently waited for the sky to have no clouds and succeeded in taking this photo with a compact camera.
"As Blythe has such vivid facial expressions, I wanted her outfit and hair style to be as simple as possible" . "I want to try to make original clothes" Ms. Nogi commented. We look forward to her next photo!

Mariko Kimura
"Red"

This picture was inspired by photographs of models in sophisticated fashion magazines. Blythe' s hair was blown by artificial wind. " I usually take photos in the city, so I would like to go away and take photos in nature. My dream is to take Blythe' s photo with a background of a sea of clouds, which we can see from Mt.Fuji." Ms. Kimura commented.

Minako & Yuri Sugitate
"MOON LIGHT BUNNY"

A mother and a daughter team. The idea of Honey Bunny floating on the moon came from the design of the handkerchief, which is used as the background.
The rabbit in the moon is a traditional look at the secrets of the universe. The background used for the Honey Bunny photo was painted by Yuri who is only 3 years old. We hope you will continue to love Blythe together.

"BANANA"

In bright sunshine, Blythe stands under a banana tree with a hibiscus in her hair. Ms. Fujimoto shot this photo in Guam at the hotel' s tropical garden. She wrapped a hibiscus patterned handkerchief like a paleo on Blythe. She likes Blythe because Blythe responds to love, like plants and animals. Love is the secret to a great picture!

Mari Tachibana
"H...e...l...l...o...!"

You can see the ocean from Ms.Tachibana' s back yard. She wanted her picture to have a feeling of a fairy tale. A frog figurine given by her friend who coincidently happens to be Ms. Aya Fujimoto who won Junko Wong's choice for a Neo-Blythe category is included in the photo! It is surprising to know that two of the Junko Wong choice winners were friends! It may be hard to see on the page, but the frog staring at Blythe is real and it comes to her yard often!
