Gina Garan/ Photographer
Born in New York. Gina is the oldest of four sisters. She graduated from Ardsley
High School then moved on to Elizabeth Seton College where she majored in radio/television.
Gina Garan is the successful photographer of the now world famous fashion doll,
"Blythe". Her first photos of Blythe were compiled in the book titled,
"This is Blythe"(Chronicle Books, 2000), which went on sale in America
in the year 2000. This book sparked a lot of interest for Blythe amongst doll
collector's in American and Japan and was soon sold in Japan (now sold out). Other
Photo books featuring Gina's Photos of Blythe are: "Dear Blythe, Love Gina",
"Dear Blythe, Love Gina2"(CWC BOOKS), "BLYTHE STYLE" (CWC
BOOKS). Gina styles and creates all of the scenarios for the photographs for Blythe.
Gina Garan is represented globally by CWC.
