Book Review from bean's+ Magazine!
Ayumi Saito, the editor for bean's + magazine has written a book review on the new Blythe book "NA WAHINE 'AULI'I ~a story of Hawaii by Blythe~".

Hawaii is a land rich in spirituality. It is blessed with a beautiful habitat and mild climate that heals the soul. Hawaii is a very popular resort destination for Japanese people.
Junko Wong grew up in Hawaii and has a special connection to it's culture. In this book she depicts the beauty and nature of Hawaii with glorious photography.
The Blythe dolls are dressed in the dazzling array of colored flowers and beautiful green leaves of the Hawaiian jungle. The legends of ancient Hawaii come to life through the sensuous photos. The stories are told through Japanese and Hawaiian language. The delicate balance of nature with mankind is an important theme in this book.
You may have seen some of the photographs before on Blythe merchandise. Junko and the CWC staff have been taking these photos and archiving them whenever they visit Hawaii. Junko has been excitedly transforming these Blythe into forest fairies for the past few years.

The front cover is a strong photograph of 'Auli'i, which means both confident and beautiful in Hawaiian.
