We are pleased to announce the call for entries for the 3rd Annual Blythe Beauty Contest! The three categories of this competition are: "Natural Beauty" a competition to select the most beautifully enhanced Neo Blythe with a presentation of both casual and formal attire; "Special Beauty" to select the most beautifully enhanced Neo Blythe using creative customizing skills with a presentation of either casual and formal attire; "Petite Beauty" ( a new category) to select the most beautifully enhanced Petite Blythe with a presentation of either casual and formal attire.
Employees of CWC, Hasbro, Tomy Co., e-Revolution, and/or Subarudo, participating judges and previous winners of the "Grand Prix"prize are not eligible to enter this competition. Contestants under that age 18 must have written consent from a parent or guardian to participate.
Previous entrants may enter again.

FINALS: Live at the Blythe 7th Anniversary Charity Event in June, 2008
Winners Announced: Last day of 7th Anniversary Charity Event.
8 to10 Semi-Finalists from each of the three categories will be selected to participate in the Finals.
The Finals will be held live during the 7th Anniversary Charity Event. A panel of judges will select the top 4 Finalists in each category. The Grand Prix winners and Runner-Ups will be selected by the public through the following voting methods: paper ballot at the event space, mobile site electronic ballot (www.blythemobile.com, available in Japan only), and a fax ballot will be made available online at [www.blythedoll.com]. The Grand Prix winners and Runner-Ups will be announced on the pc site [www.blythedoll.com], the mobile phone site [www.blythemobile.com], and at the event space last day of the Charity Event.

"Natural Beauty"
The Grand Prix winning team will have an opportunity for their design to be manufactured into a real Blythe doll. Their team will be awarded a cash prize of 150,000 JPY. Each team member will receive one 7th Anniversary Limited Edition Neo Blythe doll, one trophy and a certificate.
The Runner-Ups will receive one 7th Anniversary Limited Edition Petite Blythe doll for each team member, one trophy, and a certificate.
"Special Beauty"
The Grand Prix winning team will have an opportunity for their design to be manufactured into a real Blythe dress set. Their team will be awarded a cash prize of 100,000 JPY. Each team member will receive one 7th Anniversary Limited Edition Neo Blythe doll, one trophy and a certificate.
The Runner-Ups will receive one 7th Anniversary Limited Edition Petite Blythe doll for each team member, one trophy, and a certificate.
"Petite Beauty"
The Grand Prix winning team will have an opportunity for their design to be manufactured into a real Blythe doll. Their team will be awarded a cash prize of 150,000 JPY. Each team member will receive one 7th Anniversary Limited Edition Neo Blythe doll, one trophy and a certificate.
The Runner-Ups will receive one 7th Anniversary Limited Edition Petite Blythe doll for each team member, one trophy, and a certificate.
The Finalists in each category will be displayed at the 7th Anniversary Charity Event along with the invited artists and designer's dolls that have been donated for the charity auction. Your cooperation and donation of your doll for this charity auction to be held on Yahoo! Japan in spring of 2009 will be highly appreciated. An exchange doll will be provided for those who agree to donate their doll to this charity. 100% of the proceeds will go to a designated non- profit. The Semi- Finalists and Finalists donating to charity, will be included in the annual Blythe Charity Event Photo Catalogue.
- 8 to 10 Semi-Finalists from each category will be contacted using the information provided on the entry form. The information provided on the entry forms will be used solely for this purpose. All entry forms other than the selected Semi-Finalist will be destroyed.
- The Semi-Finalists will present their doll on the runway at the event. There will be a rehearsal.
- Details and orientation will be provided prior to the Event date.
- Four Finalists will be selected by the judges.
- The winning Grand Prix, First, Second and Third Runner Up will be awarded according to popular vote.
- Only the Finalist dolls will be on display at the event after the Live Competition.
- The photograph you provide will be used for promotional purposes and visual reference for your entry during the competition.
- CWC will not be held responsible for any third party usage of your imagery without consent. The photographer retains all copyrights and will need to take legal action on their own. CWC will take legal action to protect the rights of Blythe as their licensed property if necessary.
